HOW TO PAINT YOUR STEEL DOOR
■ CLEAN DOOR
Clean door surface to remove any loose material or dirt.
■ CHOOSE PAINT
Paint with a high quality 100% acrylic latex exterior grade paint.
■ APPLY PAINT
Simply use a brush or roller to apply paint. Doors have a woodgrain texture so paint application marks seemingly disappear.
NOTE: For Settlers® garage doors being painted black and very dark colors (having an LRV of 12 or less) contact Holmes for special product. For colors having an LRV of 13 to 38 we require the use of tested and approved paints. For more information call our Consumer Services Hotline at 1-800-557-0488.
